Last month, members of the Kappa Sigma fraternity helped clear ground of invasive blackberry roots for new native plants.
Planting Day!
Date: March 16, 2019
Time: Noon to 3PM
Meet: East End of the Small Craft Center Docks
(near the old Aqua Theater and the Pitch and Putt Golf Course)
Different day of the month and different time because we will be planting this month. We have about 60 bareroot plants being donated by the Seattle Parks Department to plant in the ground.
This will be muddy work. Dress for possibly chilly weather. Wear close-toed shoes. Bring a bottle of water.
