Green Lake Stewards Work Party Saturday, November 9, 2019

Join Us for a Green Lake Work Party Nov 9

Scouts of Troop 186 looking serious after some definitely serious pruning in the dense willow thicket on the south end of the lake.

It’s nearly planting time!  We will be pruning and weeding and preparing our sites for planting groundcovers such as fringecup, redwood sorrel and goatsbeard. If plants arrive early, we may even get some in the ground this week.

If you do not have a full 3 hours to give, drop by for as much time as you have. Look for and follow our Event sign to find the work site.

Date: November 9 2019
Time: 9 am to 12 noon
Meet: Beside the Aqua Theater at the east end of the Small Craft Center (5900 West Green Lake Way North)

Dress for dirty work, wear close-toed shoes and bring a bottle of water.
