We’re Back for a Green Lake Work Party 9 to 11 am Saturday, December 12
Hello Stewards!
The Green Seattle volunteer program was halted earlier this year across all Seattle parks due to the Covid pandemic. Starting very slowly, and using new protocols, the Seattle Parks and Recreation is now allowing small volunteer work parties to meet.
We are having a work party, limited to five volunteers, this coming Saturday, December 12th, from 9 am to 11am (a reduction from our usual 3 hour work parties).
- We can only except 5 volunteers.
- Masks are required.
- Bring your own work gloves.
- Tools will be disinfected after use.
- We will work widely separated.
- We will focus on planting.
I will register the first five people to respond. If you would like to participate RSVP at hutcheson@seanet.com
If you arrive late, follow the Event signs to find the work site:
Date: December 12, 2020
Time: 9 am to 11 am
Meet: Beside the Aqua Theater at the east end of the Small Craft Center (5900 West Green Lake Way North)
Dress for the weather and the dirty work, wear close-toed shoes and bring a bottle of water.
Can you make it?
