Green Lake Monitoring – February 24, 2019

Secchi Depth: 3.6 Meters (11.8 feet)
Water Temp: 4.5 degrees C (40.1 degrees F)

Monitored at East Green Lake by Jeffrey Howard. The sample was taken from the T-dock near the Green Lake Community Center. Jeff will continue sampling weekly from the same site and also report the data quarterly to King County using their format.

Through a combination of efforts by volunteer lake monitors and King County staff, the King County Lake Stewardship Program analyzes data to track long-term water quality trends in small lakes in western King County, including Green Lake. Join us for a Saturday Morning Warm Up at the Lake!

Meet: East End of the Small Craft Center Docks
(near the old Aqua Theater and the Pitch and Putt Golf Course)

Rain or shine…we will be preparing our restoration sites to add new plants in March.

Expect muddy work. Dress for chilly weather. Wear close-toed shoes. Bring a bottle of water.
