The kickoff event of Seafair happens at Green Lake each year when the Allstate Milk Carton derby blasts onto the scene. The boatloads of family fun brought nearly 25,000 spectators, who lined the shore to watch the more than 100 handcrafted boats, floating on milk cartons, compete. Photos by Gayle Garman.
