Green Lake Stewards Work Party – February 13, 2021

We’re Back for a Green Lake Work Party Saturday morning January 13

Hello Stewards …

Happy February! As some of you are aware, Rob Hutcheson has recently moved, so I, Dan, will be taking over  and hope to do half as well. Rob might be seen on occasion going forward, but we certainly want to give many thanks for all his hard work at Green Lake over the years.

As a reminder, the Green Seattle volunteer program was halted in 2020 across all Seattle parks due to the Covid pandemic.  Seattle Parks and Recreation is now allowing small volunteer work parties to meet with Covid protocols to keep us safe.

We are having a work party, limited to five volunteers per official Forest Steward this coming Saturday. Luckily, we have two stewards, so we can hold two work parties of 5 people each. One will start at 9:00 am and the other at 9:15 on February 13th and will go for 2 hours.

If you arrive late, follow the Event signs to find the work site:

Date: February 13, 2021
Time: 9 am to 11 am or 9:15 to 11:15 am
Meet: Beside the Aqua Theater at the east end of the Small Craft Center (5900 West Green Lake Way North)

Dress for the weather and the dirty work, wear close-toed shoes and bring a bottle of water.

Hope you can make it!
